This year our Candela competitors have resorted to spreading rumours about us and our products. Nothing causes us a greater sense of pride. Our consistent market leading pricing and award winning service has left them little choice. For those of you still paying too much, and who have not met us personally - we thought we'd clear up a few things:

1. Myth: Laser Aid is refilling cryogen bottles illegally and they use poor quality cryogen that can damage your laser.
1. Fact:   This is incorrect
     b) We are licensed to refill cryogen under the Australian Refrigeration Council
     c) Our cryogen is the purest quality medical grade cryogen available in the country
     d) Our cryogen is cheaper, of the exact same quality as Candela cryogen and as we refill rather than dispose of the used bottles - much more environmentally friendly
    e) All of our cryogen is weight tested, pressure tested and the connection points thoroughly cleaned to ensure there are no contaminants.

2. Myth: Our Candela machinery is not TGA approved

3. Myth: We do not use genuine parts
3. Fact: We do use genuine parts
   a) We use Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. Rather than source them through Candela we source them directly from the manufacturer of the individual part.
   b) What we do offer is a number of aftermarket consumables as alternatives to un-reasonably priced manufacturers parts.

4. Myth: We do not repair the lasers to same standard as the manufacturer
4. Fact: In the past 3 years we have sold and serviced far more machines than the manufacturer. We have a team of electrical engineers that are very well trained on all our equipment. On numerous occasions Candela technicians have contacted us to help them with complicated issues.

5. Myth: Our machines are stolen / imported to Australia illegally.
- This is completely incorrect. All of our machines are checked by Australian customs before enetering the country.
