Two types of lenses are available in laser eyewear protection:
• Polymer laser eyewear
• Glass laser eyewear
Different frame styles can be fitted with different lenses to protect against different types of lasers. It is important in choosing the correct protective eyewear for the type of Laser/IPL.
• Alexandrite - 755nm wavelength
• Nd:YAG - 1064nm wavelength
• Diode – 1450nm wavelength
• IPL – multiple wavelengths
