It’s time to start thinking about seasonal treatments for the colder months. With the weather getting cooler, it’s the perfect time to rejuvenate and refresh our treatment menus. So let’s discuss some treatments that you should be offering this autumn.

First on the list is a hydrating facial. As the weather cools down, your clients will likely experience dull, dry and dehydrated skin. A hydrating facial will help to replenish the skin’s moisture and leave it feeling soft and supple. These facials often include a deep cleanse, exfoliation, and a hydrating mask. You can also offer add-ons such as LED light therapy to further enhance the treatment. Consider using your hydrodermabrasion device as the basis for the facial.

Next up, we have a chemical peel. Chemical peels are a great way to combat hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone, which can often be exacerbated by the sun during the summer months. Chemical peels work by removing the top layer of the skin, allowing fresh, new skin to grow in its place. The result is a brighter, more even complexion.

Third on the list is microdermabrasion. This treatment involves using a device to exfoliate the skin and remove dead skin cells. It’s a great way to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as acne scars and hyperpigmentation. Microdermabrasion can also help to stimulate collagen production, which is essential for maintaining youthful-looking skin. As with chemical peels, avoiding sun exposure after undergoing microdermabrasion is best, so it’s an excellent Autumn treatment.

Fourth, we have laser hair removal. With the cooler weather and your clients covering up, now is the time to offer some fantastic deals on laser hair removal. It’s much easier to tell clients to avoid sun exposure before and after their treatment when a beautiful Australian summer is not a temptation. In addition to these treatments, it’s also important to recommend skincare products that are seasonally relevant. As the weather cools down, mention ingredients such as Ceramides, AHA’s and Retinol to help nourish and protect the skin. Remember to remind your clients that SPF’s are for all year round!
